Murtera was born from our deep passion for skiing and life in the mountains. We have spent countless hours in the Alps, not just on holidays but also as ski instructors. One of the mountains in the area where we worked as instructors, Murtera, became the inspiration for our brand name.

We kept running into the same problem: ski wear for girls often missed the mark. We wanted something that looked as good as it performed; aesthetic, functional and designed to give you that same feeling of confidence and joy as skiing itself. That’s what Murtera is here for.
